Job Summary and Responsibilities
CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our newly established orthopedic practice in the TN/GA market.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, contributing to a collegial work environment, and upholding the mission and values of CommonSpirit Memorial. About the Opportunity:
- Deliver comprehensive orthopedic care: Diagnose, treat, and manage musculoskeletal conditions for diverse patient needs.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures: Expertise in a wide range of orthopedic surgeries, including general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports injuries, hand and other specialized orthopedic cases.
- Ensure patient-centered care: Provide empathetic communication, clear treatment explanations, and prioritize patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively: Work seamlessly with multi-disciplinary teams, referring physicians, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain clinical excellence: Adhere to best practices, participate in call rotation, and uphold accurate medical documentation.
- Commit to professional growth: Engage in ongoing medical education, quality initiatives, and professional development.
Job Requirements
- Education: MD/DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Licensure: Ability to obtain an unrestricted TN/GA medical license
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of post-residency experience preferred, but exceptional new graduates will be considered
- Skills:
- Excellent surgical skills and clinical judgment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
- Experience with Epic preferred.
