As a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Reliability Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers and vendors. You will provide structured maintenance strategies for material handling equipment (MHE), focusing on slat and cross-belt sorters, to improve machine performance, extend equipment useful life, and reduce overall maintenance costs. The team uses data to build and support these strategies from tools including CMMS systems and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Building productive relationships with colleagues and customers at remote sites worldwide will be key to success, as will patience and a sense of humor. Frequent travel to facilities in North America and Europe is required.

In an MHE Reliability Engineer role, the individual leads reliability initiatives to maximize overall equipment effectiveness, captures best practices, rolls out network/business-unit initiatives, and feeds feedback into the design process with WWDE to assure the highest safety and sustainability possible. The person owns programs, projects, and systems that improve efficiency, reduce downtime of critical assets, and cut overall maintenance costs that are scalable across business units. They oversee projects from concept to network roll-out, using advanced project management tools such as defect mapping, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Gantt charts. Advanced knowledge and experience with white papers, Operational Planning (OP) documents, strategy documents (SPS), ECON analysis, and acquisition of network CARs with minimal leadership guidance are required.

• Experience analyzing dependencies, tradeoffs, and sensitivities across multi-disciplinary systems
• Experience participating in or leading technical collaborations and creating alignment across diverse groups (eg, hardware engineering, software engineering, program management)
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities and experience in managing and troubleshooting network
• Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
• 2+ years of technical support, or 2+ years of systems engineering experience
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 5+ years of technical troubleshooting or similar experience

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• Experience reviewing and understanding engineering design documents for electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and assembly drawings of products
• Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and influencing colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders
• Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market.
