Overview

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana. Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. Practice: Cardiothoracic surgery group seeking an experienced, BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a team of established surgeons performing over 1200 adult cardiac cases annually. Schedule and call arrangements are shared among the surgeons.

Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent is actively seeking a board certified Cardiac Surgeon to join our team in the Indianapolis, Indiana location. Responsibilities include all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, with an emphasis on cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.

Highlights
  • Join our team of 5 established surgeons, 3 of whom participate in heart transplant surgery.
  • On-call schedules are rotated evenly amongst the group.
  • 1:4 transplant call; 1:6 primary surgical call.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
