Position Medical Science Liaison, Oncology, Lung & GU Tumors

The MSL engages in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with healthcare system leaders within a defined geography to translate science into patient care, with a focus on oncology in Lung & GU tumors. The role is field-based and involves substantial time in the field with external stakeholders while supporting internal partners and maintaining therapeutic expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop trusted relationships with academic and community Thought Leaders in Oncology through high-quality peer-to-peer scientific dialogue in proactive and reactive settings.
- Medical engagement: collaborate with TLs to gain insights on the clinical landscape, develop a medical plan aligned with product and disease area goals, engage with medical societies and guideline committees, provide training for external speakers, and support pre- and peri-launch activities and lifecycle management (LCM) efforts.
- Provide medical support to address unsolicited HCP questions in real time, including via the Medical on Call capability.
- Document and achieve annual goals; leverage digital capabilities to enhance engagement.
- Clinical Trial engagement: advise on study feasibilities, liaise with large accounts to address clinical barriers and equitable access, lead major evidence read-outs with investigators, support interventional and non-interventional studies, ensure pharmacovigilance alignment, and support CRO-sponsored studies as defined by the study scope.
- Support HCPs in ISR submission and execution, and ensure investigators understand pharmacovigilance procedures; utilize the field medical plan to guide interactions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with disease-area focus or relevant pharmaceutical experience; field medical expertise preferred.
- Working in scientific/clinical research environments; deep understanding of TL environment and needs.
- Strong oncology experience; knowledge of scientific publications; understanding of clinical trial design and regulatory guidelines; experience in a scientific dialogue with HCPs.
- Travel readiness; ability to operate in field settings and interact with investigators and clinical thought leaders.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation range: Field - United States - US $163,330 to $197,915. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available. Final pay determined by experience. Benefits may vary by location. For more information, see the careers site.
