Senior AI/ML & SW Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and launch of HP's AI/ML and Data Platforms. This PM will be responsible for translating complex customer and business needs into clear product requirements, driving innovation using advanced data techniques like multimodal data analysis and data fusion, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact data products across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML and Data Analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market needs.

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, data analysts, designers, and marketing to guide products from conception to launch.

  • AI/ML Product Development: Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models and AI-powered features, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and deliver measurable value.

  • Data Strategy & Management: Spearhead data collection strategies, define data modeling requirements, and collaborate on data governance and compliance to ensure the availability and quality of extensive, high-integrity datasets.

  • Advanced Data Techniques: Drive the application of advanced data techniques, including multimodal data analysis and data fusion, to uncover deep insights and build sophisticated, market-leading solutions.

  • Telemetry & Analytics: Define, instrument, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and telemetry data to measure product performance, user behavior, and business impact, using a data-driven approach to inform future iterations.

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively translating complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and communicating product progress and results to leadership.

  • Market & User Research: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify pain points, emerging trends, and new opportunities for AI applications.

Experience
  • 8+ years of proven experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on AI, ML, data analytics, or data platforms.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling AI-driven products from 0-to-1 and beyond, delivering measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Lean development environment.

Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data collection, model training, deployment, and monitoring (MLOps).

  • Familiarity with data technologies such as data warehouses, data lakes, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Proficiency in data analysis and experimentation design using tools like Python, R, or BI platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

  • Knowledge of concepts like natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, predictive modeling, and data enrichment techniques.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (eg, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience.

  • An MBA/Master's degree is preferred

Soft Skills
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, comfortable with ambiguity and complex problem-solving.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative mindset and a passion for driving innovation

The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
