Job Summary

The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine and the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center seeks a fellowship trained; board certified/board eligible Medical Oncologist. The ideal candidate will have a professional interest and training in the treatment of adult GI and hepatic cancers and demonstrate the ability to conduct clinical research associated with these diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Inpatient and outpatient care at Loyola University Medical Center and active participation in weekly Multidisciplinary GI clinics.
  • Active participation in clinical and translational research associated with GI and hepatic cancers, including contribution to clinical treatment options such as dendritic cellular therapy trials.
  • Teaching responsibilities with fellows, residents, and medical students as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Board certified or board eligible Medical Oncologist.
  • Fellowship trained with experience in adult GI and hepatic cancers.
  • Ability to conduct clinical research associated with these diseases.

  • Competitive starting compensation between $159,000 - $985,945, salary based on academic rank and experience.
