Beacon Hill Legal is staffing a contract-to-hire Senior Legal Counsel position for a reputable association based in Washington, DC.

The Senior Legal Counsel will drive its amicus curiae program while providing strategic legal guidance on compliance, governance, and key organizational initiatives. Counsel will shape impactful appellate advocacy, collaborate with leading legal partners, and advise across contracts, regulatory matters, and special projects to advance the association's mission.

• Lead and manage the amicus curiae program and contribute to appellate advocacy initiatives.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on compliance, governance, and organizational initiatives.
• Collaborate with external legal partners and internal teams on contracts, regulatory matters, and special projects.
• Support mission-driven initiatives and advisory services across the association.

• Barred in any state (active/in good standing).
• 5+ years of legal practice experience.
• Appellate or public interest background strongly preferred.
