What We're Looking For
Chan + Punzalan is a law firm that values impact, balance and professional growth. We are expanding our Labor and Employment practice and are seeking a California-licensed attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, real courtroom exposure, and the chance to build a long-term practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years experience in California labor and employment cases involving wage and hour claims (class and PAGA) and employment matters involving harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation claims.
What You'll Do
- You will handle all phases of pre-trial litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and case management in California labor and employment matters.
- You will have real ownership over your work with access to collaborative partners and teammates who value transparency, respect, and open feedback.
- You will also have the opportunity to work on the firm's intellectual property litigation matters if interested in expanding your skill set.
Flexibility, Pay & Growth
The expected salary range for this position is $145,000 to $215,000 annually, and the firm offers competitive benefits. This is a hybrid position that respects focus time and personal commitments, and a strong candidate will be someone who can work independently but can also thrive in a close-knit, collegial work environment where you're supported as a professional - and as a person.
