Position Overview
Oversees a team of analysts responsible for the coordination, training and implementation of the clinical applications. The primary responsibility is to ensure that applications are well supported and that implementations are properly executed to meet organizational standards. The Applications Analyst IV must possess a thorough understanding of medical terminology, technology and clinical workflows. As an assigned application and department liaison, this position will be responsible for coordinating training, troubleshooting, configuration and error resolution for new and existing applications.
This position involves working closely with end-users and ITS management staff to manage the development and implementation of new features and functions. The Applications Analyst IV partners with their assigned departments and helps to identify user requirements, utilize available technologies, develop detailed interface and conversion specifications and recommend software solution options. For large scale projects, this role will take the lead in the development and implementation of new features or enhancements. Projects are likely to include; identifying user requirements, developing detailed interfaces, planning for system conversions and recommending software solution options. For other projects, this role will provide oversight and project management to a team of analysts.

Education
Education Requirements: Associate\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field (or equivalent). Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
Experience
At least five years of information systems experience as a senior clinical/business analyst or project manager.
Knowledge And Skills
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, guide and motivate direct reports through best practices.
- Capable of supervising day-to-day operations and support.
- Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
- Strong software and application knowledge; base knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of business operations; ability to identify problems, assess impact, propose solutions and drive to resolution.
- Attention to detail; ability to monitor processes and maintain records; clear written and spoken communication.
- Provide quality customer service and act as a representative of Information Systems; maintain ongoing communication with customers/peers.
- Resource negotiation and acquisition for project needs.
- Assign work to ensure completion according to project timelines.
Compensation
Compensation Range: $66,500.00 - $96,500.00
This range is an estimate based on minimum qualifications; pay is determined based on a broad range of factors including education, experience, skills, certifications, internal equity and market considerations. BMCHS offers comprehensive benefits and total compensation.
