CLOSED 12.17.2025 - Position cancelled by the client Radiation Oncology Opportunity Full-Time Outpatient in Iowa We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist for a locum-to-perm opportunity at a well-established outpatient facility. This role offers Full time coverage with a consistent schedule and the potential to transition to a permanent position. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient radiation oncology care (20 25 patients/day) Conduct weekly treatment visits, follow-ups, and consultations Perform procedures including Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT, SBRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Photon Beam Therapy, and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy Document care using Aria EMR Schedule Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch) No weekends or on-call Qualifications Board Certified in Radiation Oncology Active Iowa medical license or IMLC eligibility Available to start after credentialing (temporary privileges possible in 30 60 days) Ability to commit to four-week coverage intervals Local candidates or those within driving distance preferred Facility Details Level II Trauma Center Single-physician practice during locum coverage Supportive environment with potential for permanent placement This is a unique opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist to provide meaningful patient care in a professional setting while establishing long-term employment.
