Job Opportunity: Trial Attorney/Trial Advocacy Consultant (Personal Injury)

Overview
An opportunity is available to participate in a fully developed personal injury case representing the plaintiff, currently positioned for settlement and potential jury trial in Fairfax County Circuit Court.
The case file is complete and trial-ready, including:
- All medical records and billing
- Discovery responses and interrogatories
- Photographs, satellite imaging, and authentication materials with exhibits
- Documented evidence preservation and spoliation issues
This engagement is well-suited for an attorney or trial advocate seeking meaningful courtroom experience and substantive involvement in trial preparation, strategy, procedure and examination.
Case Summary
The matter arises from a rear-end collision at a stop-controlled intersection, where the plaintiff was yielding to oncoming traffic.
- Liability is admitted by the defendant
- Plaintiff sustained severe bodily injuries to cervical and lumbar areas requiring surgical intervention
- Evidence at the scene was altered or moved by the defendant, with photographic documentation preserved
- Damages, causation, liability and credibility will be central trial themes.
- Two Treating Physicians for regenerative medicine and surgeon whose profile includes America's Most Honored Doctor and Top Doctor in all of Northern Virginia.
Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will assist with:
- Strategic development of cross-examination, witness questioning, jury selection
- Exposure of credibility issues through testimony and record-based impeachment
- Trial theme refinement related to causation, damages, and evidence handling
- Preparation for potential settlement leverage informed by trial posture
The role emphasizes fact-based interrogation, precision questioning, and truth development, not liability arguments.
Qualifications
- Experience or demonstrated aptitude in trial advocacy, witness examination, or cross-examination
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Familiarity with personal injury litigation preferred
- Interest in hands-on litigation experience and trial strategy
