Umoya Africa Tours is preparing for its public launch.

We are a cultural and heritage travel company focused on immersive journeys across South Africa, designed for travellers seeking depth, meaning, and connection rather than mass tourism.

We are looking for a Marketing & Launch Lead to help bring Umoya to market and manage execution across social media and website.

This is an individual contributor role, not an agency brief.

You will work closely with the founders and creative team to turn an existing direction into action. The strategy and creative vision are already defined. What we need now is someone who can organise content, guide creatives, finalise copy, and keep the launch moving.

This role requires judgment, cultural awareness, and strong execution skills.

• Coordinating the rollout of Umoya's launch across social media and web
• Working with graphic designers and video editors to move content from concept to published assets
• Shaping and finalising copy for graphic posts, quote tiles, and short brand-led content
• Managing and making use of existing photo and video material from field research and FAM trips across multiple provinces
• Identifying relevant cultural or historical video material that aligns with Umoya's positioning and advising on how it can be adapted
• Ensuring all content is culturally accurate, respectful, and consistent in tone
• Keeping timelines on track so production and publishing do not stall

• Someone with experience in marketing, communications, or brand launch
• Strong familiarity with South African culture, heritage, or tourism
• Comfortable working with creatives and giving clear direction
• Confident writer and editor
• Organised, independent, and discreet

• Bonus: Experience or knowledge of marketing and selling luxury travel or high-end tour experiences.
