A well-established, growing CPA firm in Coral Gables is seeking an experienced Tax Director - Corporate to join its leadership team. This role is ideal for a senior tax professional who wants meaningful responsibility, client visibility, and flexibility-without sacrificing technical depth or career trajectory.

• Lead and review complex corporate tax engagements, including C-corps, partnerships, and multi-entity structures
• Serve as signing authority on federal and state tax returns
• Provide technical guidance on corporate tax matters, including ASC 740 and complex compliance issues
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies, structuring, and risk mitigation
• Oversee and mentor managers and senior staff; review work for accuracy and technical quality
• Collaborate with firm leadership on client strategy, growth initiatives, and best practices
• Interface directly with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact
• Stay current on regulatory changes and emerging tax issues affecting corporate clients

• Active CPA license - required
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience within public accounting
• Strong background in corporate tax (some international exposure preferred, not dominant)
• Prior experience with return review and sign-off authority
• Background from a respected regional or national firm strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead teams
• Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment
