Facility in Youngstown, OH seeking Neurohospitalist locums coverage Rates: $2500/day + $350/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: ASAP (upon completion of credentialing).
• Schedule: On-call coverage; ongoing rotation.
• Setting: Inpatient/Neurohospitalist Service.
• Patient Volume: Admissions: 9 10 per day.
• ICU: 10 patients per day (20-bed ICU).
• ED Consults: 2 5 per day.
• Support: APPs provide active coverage support; no supervision of other providers required.
• EMR: Epic.
• Rounding: Responsible for neurology rounding on all adult floors.

Clinical Responsibilities Providers must be proficient in managing a wide array of acute neurological conditions and performing essential inpatient procedures. Required Procedures:

• Neurology: Radiologic Exam Interpretation (Unofficial), EEG, EMG, Brain Death Exams, Evoked Potentials, and Dysphagia screening.
• Hospitalist/Critical Care: Ventilation Management, EKG Interpretation, and Evaluation/Management of Acute Volume and BP Issues.

Scope of Treatments:

• Autoimmune Encephalitis and Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
• Acute Myasthenia Gravis Exacerbation.
• Refractory Epilepsy and Meningitis.
• Delirium, Headache, and Primary/Secondary Brain Cancers.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified in Neurology (REQUIRED).
• Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) State License (REQUIRED).
• Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS (REQUIRED).
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 Vaccine (noted at name clear) and Flu Vaccine (required at credentialing).
• Documentation: Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation (must be dated within 30 days of submission).
