Local Route CDL A Shuttle Driver - $28 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A shuttle driver to support local operations based in East Syracuse, NY.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6pm Start time, 8-10 hour days

• Pay: $28 Per Hour, $1,200 - $1,300 estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local shuttle runs, various locations near Syracuse, NY, West to Farmington, North to Massena and East to Utica.

• Equipment: Manual and Automatic Trucks

• Handling: No touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
