Gastroenterologist Locums, Georgia - Inpatient Call Only

Holiday inpatient GI assignment in Georgia with 24-hour call coverage and holiday pay included.

Highlights:

• Inpatient only; no clinic or outpatient responsibilities
• 7 days total of 24-hour call
• Holiday pay for Thanksgiving and Christmas
• 45-day credentialing; all travel covered

Practice Setting:

• 181-bed acute care hospital
• Adults only; consults and procedures
• Full hospital support and surgical specialties on site
• Bread and butter GI cases

Schedule:

• Choose from two holiday blocks, or take both
• 24-hour call (8a to 8a); weekdays include 6 to 8 hours onsite
• Weekends are lighter with rounding and consults

Cases and Procedures:

• Mix of GI consults and procedures, 1 to 10 per day
• Scopes: 1 to 2 per day; emergent procedures as needed
• ERCP preferred, not required

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Eligible within 5 years
• Georgia license required; LOQ may be considered
• BLS and DEA certifications

Travel Accommodations:

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
• All-inclusive travel package provided

• No clinic duties; ideal for short-term, high-impact holiday coverage
• Still open for Thanksgiving and Christmas blocks
