Heart & Vascular is seeking board certified/eligible Cardiac surgeon to join a expanding nationally recognized team of 8 surgeons in a high-volume, growing multi-disciplinary practice spanning the expansive Northern Virginia Catchment area. The ideal Cardiac Surgeon will have a broad experience in adult cardiac surgery with a dedicated interest in heart and lung transplantation as well as mechanical circulatory support. Competitive new graduates will be considered.

Requirements:

• Education: MD or DO Degree
• Experience: Completed ACGME residency training in General Surgery and subsequent fellowship with ABS board certification in Cardiac Surgery or board eligible
• Certification/Licensure: Current Virginia medical license and DEA, Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at all Inova Hospitals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience within a Tertiary care center with cardiac surgery partnership
