Hematology Hospitalist at the University of Florida
The University of Florida Department of Medicine seeks a Full time Hematology Hospitalist for a clinician-track position within the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant Professor rank or higher. The successful candidate will provide inpatient hematology consultations (focus on non-malignant hematology), participate in the education of medical trainees (medical students, residents, hematology/oncology fellows), and engage in quality and safety initiatives. Leadership and research opportunities are encouraged, and tracks may be tenure-accruing or non-tenure-accruing.
Responsibilities- Perform inpatient hematology consultations with a focus on non-malignant conditions.
- Educate medical trainees, including medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives within the division.
- Engage in leadership activities and contribute to institutional quality improvement.
- Develop and pursue research and scholarly activities as appropriate.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
- Eligible for a Florida Medical License.
