Join a dedicated team near Graham, Washington, providing expert gastroenterology coverage in a hospital setting. We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterology physician for a locum tenens position to assist with procedures, inpatient rounds, and consults for adult patients. This opportunity includes flexible scheduling with premium holiday and on-call rates and travel accommodations for qualifying candidates.

Position Details:

• Role: Gastroenterology Physician - Locum Tenens
• Location: Near Graham, WA
• Start Date: Orientation required before February 15, 2025; active coverage begins 2/15/2025
• End Date: Ongoing opportunities throughout 2025 with various available weeks
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with on-site daytime duties and after-hours on-call coverage.
• Weekend/Call Requirements: 3 PM - 7 AM weeknights, 24-hour call on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary Duties: Inpatient rounding, performing GI procedures, and on-call urgent care.
• Procedures Required: Upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy; ERCP proficiency is preferred.
• Patient Focus: Adults, GI endoscopy cases, inpatient consults.
• Procedure Volume: 6-8 procedures per day
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
• Licensing: Active Washington State medical license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) with LOQ in hand at time of name clearing.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
• Experience: Completed Gastroenterology fellowship required; no new graduates.
• Malpractice Record: Clean preferred

Scheduled Coverage Weeks for 2025:

• February 15-21
• March 22-28
• April 26-May 2
• May 31-June 6
• Additional coverage weeks through December

Travel and Accommodation:

• Air Travel
• Lodging: Based on GSA rate, up to 1.5 times the market rate
• Rental Car
• Mileage: IRS Standard Rate
