Schedule: Monday Friday, 11:30pm 7:30am
Rotations: Weekends & holidays as scheduled

A hospital in the Westchester New York region is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Supervisor to help lead their clinical laboratory team on the night shift. This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist who thrives in both hands-on bench work and leadership responsibilities. Pay Range: $114k - $147k/year

• Support daily operations within the laboratory and act as backup to the Section Supervisor

• Perform bench testing regularly and assist staff as needed

• Oversee quality control, QA activities, and instrument/equipment maintenance

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel; verify competency

• Assist with scheduling, payroll documentation, workflow monitoring, and process improvements

• Troubleshoot instrumentation and collaborate with vendors

• Maintain communication across the department and interdisciplinary teams

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field

• 4+ years of hospital laboratory experience

• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (or eligibility required)

• ASCP certification preferred

• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

• Solid understanding of QC, QA, regulatory compliance, and laboratory operations
