A healthcare network in New York is looking to add a new, licensed Pediatric Urgent Care Physician/PEM to their growing team in Rockland County. In this role, thePediatric Urgent Care Physician/PEMwill be responsible forevaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric urgent care patients in both in-person and telemedicine settings.

About the Opportunity:

• Setting: Private Practice
• Hours: 12pm to 12am or 10am to 10pm (3 to 4 weekends shifts a month)

Responsibilities:

ThePediatric Urgent Care Physician/PEM will:

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for both in-person and telemedicine patients,includinganaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma
• Perform procedural care, including abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive
• Takeradiographs and providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-reads (only in applicable states)
• Oversee in-person and telemedicine patient flow and daily functions of the office along with oversight of other providers, staff, and trainees on shift
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatrics
• Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care background
