Position Type: Locum Physician Electrophysiology

Locum Electrophysiology opportunity in Youngstown, OH, starting July 1, 2026. This role includes inpatient coverage with scheduled daytime hours and 24-hour on-call responsibilities in a high-acuity hospital setting.

• Unit: Electrophysiology

• Inpatient coverage with call

• Trauma Level I facility

• 400 total hospital beds

• 50 ICU beds

• Group includes 20 Cardiologists

• 1 APP supervised by locum physician

• Adult and geriatric patient population

• EMR: Epic
  
  

• Board Certified REQUIRED

• BLS & ACLS REQUIRED

• Active OH license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED

• Self-Query NPDB report required at presentation (dated within 30 days) REQUIRED

• Ability to perform:

  • Electrical cardioversions

  • EKGs

  • Tilt table tests

  • All electrophysiology procedures
    
    

• Start Date: 07/01/2026

• Day shift: 8 hours

• 24-hour on-call coverage required

• Call ratio: 1:4

• Average clinic volume: 20 patients/day

• Average inpatient admissions: 11 per physician/day

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days
