Description: This position will oversee the execution of logistics and sustainment engineering activities for the JASSM/LRASM Programs. The candidate will manage personnel in execution of Integrated Logistics Support tasks. This position has the responsibility for managing design, production, and sustainment phases of product development, proposal activities and sustainment/field support efforts. Coordinate team efforts for execution of tasks including analyses of designs and design changes. Present sustainment engineering status at program reviews. The successful candidate should be an agile thinker and executor able to move from a strategic level to the implementation level in interactions with multiple audiences and groups.
Manage logistics development activities such as supportability analyses to include Level of Repair, Life Cycle Cost reports, Maintenance, plus Technical Publications and Training, Logistics & Maintainability Demonstrations. Present development status at planned reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain an DOD secret clearance.
Bachelors Degree from an accredited University (preferably focused in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Information Technology).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics and Sustainment across several disciplines of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
Experience leading or participating in product design or development.
Strong Computer Skills including MS Office.
Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
Experience in performing maintenance task and critical task analyses.
Experience working with Air Force or Navy programs.
Experience with aircraft and munitions storage, handling and aircraft loading procedures to include platform integration. CFR-49 Hazardous Material certified.
Experience with reviewing system support requirements, determination and maintenance of tools and test equipment and spares tracking and management, and review of maintenance and support
planning documents for technical adequacy.
Experience with developing and delivering
presentations to peers and management.
Knowledge of and practical use in CMBRE support equipment. Demonstrated ability to provide logistics engineering support to both development and postproduction/sustainment operations.
