Who We Are Looking For We're seeking a strategic Principal Technical Recruiter to drive talent acquisition across our technical organizations. This person will influence hiring strategy, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable impact through data-driven decision making. You\'ll be responsible for building high-performing teams from IC through executive levels while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent strategy and organizational design.
Responsibilities Recruiting Excellence
Execute end-to-end recruiting for technical roles ranging from individual contributors to senior executives
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates across Security, Infrastructure, AI/ML, and other specialized technical domains
Use talent metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve process efficiency
Design and deliver exceptional candidate experiences that reflect organizational values and strengthen employer brand
Successfully close candidates at all levels through strategic offer negotiation and relationship building
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and recruiting excellence across the organization
Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Partner with executive leadership to develop recruiting strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational transformation
Lead change management initiatives to evolve recruiting processes, introduce new hiring methodologies, and drive adoption across technical teams
Influence hiring decisions and team composition through strategic workforce planning and market intelligence
Develop trusted relationships with hiring managers, interviewers, and executive leadership to drive hiring excellence
Coach hiring managers on effective candidate assessment, structured interviewing, and bias mitigation
Serve as domain expert on sourcing techniques, stakeholder management, and recruiting strategy
Qualifications Required:
7+ years of technical recruiting experience with proven track record of successfully hiring ICs to executives
Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions and drive organizational change through strategic recruiting initiatives
Strong analytical skills with experience establishing metrics, interpreting data, and presenting insights that drive action
Excellence in stakeholder management across technical and executive leadership, with ability to challenge ideas and navigate competing priorities
Deep understanding of technical roles with ability to source and evaluate candidates across engineering, product, and design disciplines
Track record of building recruiting systems or implementing significant recruiting initiatives
Experience coaching recruiters and hiring managers on recruiting best practices
Proven success in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
Preferred:
Experience recruiting for AI/ML, Infrastructure, or distributed systems roles
Background in recruiting operations, process design, or recruiting team leadership
Familiarity with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby and Juicebox
Experience in Series A through pre-IPO stage companies
Strong ownership, entrepreneurship, and passion for building through innovative strategies
