Outpatient same-day anesthesia cases in the morning, followed by anesthesia add-ons, then non-anesthesia cases

Weekend cases are on-call only

Weekend anesthesia cases must be booked through the OR

Shared anesthesia coverage with surgical services

Common weekend cases: venous access, enteric access, drain placements (abscess, chest tubes)

Weekday volume: 15 cases/day

Mostly venous access, enteric access, drain placements, biopsies

Some biliary drain placements & salivary gland injections

• Locums must offer at least 5 consecutive shifts per month

• Inpatient per day: 0

• Admissions per day: 0

• Outpatients per day: 25

• Cases per day: 50

• Evals per day: 25

• EMR: EPIC

• PACS/Voice Recognition: Carestream VuePACS

• Strong APP support:

• NP + PA onsite Monday, Tuesday, Friday

• NP off Wednesday

• PA in clinic Thursday

APPs field consults and coordinate cases; attending approval needed for biopsies, chest tubes, etc.

All pediatric subspecialties available on-site
