Kimley-Horn is seeking a Project Manager to support our growing Roadway/Highway practice in Pleasanton, CA.
This position is responsible for complex engineering design tasks as well as marketing, client contact, and the growth of the roadway design practice in the Bay Area. This position will be actively involved in design issues, trouble shooting, client interaction and mentoring of junior staff.

Bachelors Degree
Licensed Engineer in the State of California
Track record of successfully delivering work in the Bay Area and surrounding areas
Knowledge and experience with the full life cycle of roadway and/or highway projects from studies to environmental to PS&E and final design packages.
Extensive knowledge of geometric design, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, drainage, utility, or other related design issues.
Experience and interface with Caltrans, local agencies, and/or local municipalities
At least 10 years experience in civil design of local roadways, urban freeways and/or interchanges.
Demonstrated ability to manage roadway projects
Experience writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
Ability to train and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively with a positive impact.
