Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead and oversee manufacturing and production processes to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Responsibilities include developing and improving manufacturing workflows, overseeing the implementation of engineering solutions, optimizing machining processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product design compatibility with manufacturing capabilities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards related to the production of medical devices.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Engineering, and production optimization
  • Proficiency in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering methods and principles
  • Hands-on experience and technical proficiency in Machining processes
  • Proven ability to develop and apply mechanical and production engineering capabilities
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality standards in the medical device industry
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering fields is required; Master's degree is a plus
  • Previous experience in the medical device manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
