Diesel Mechanic (Night Shift 4pm-4am) - Midlothian, Texas

Join Waste Connections as a Diesel Mechanic and keep our fleet running strong! We're hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks-covering everything from hydraulics and electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety .

? What We Offer:
$22.00-$30.00/hour based on experience Plus $2,500.00 Stay on Bonus
$150/month tool allowance + annual boot stipend

Consistent hours: 50-60 hrs/week, Mon-Fri + some Saturdays

? What You'll Do:
Perform preventative maintenance & inspections
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues
Handle on-road breakdowns and emergency calls
Keep shop clean, organized, and safe
Accurately document all work performed

? Requirements:
3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experience
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
ASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plus
Reliable, hard-working, and safety -minded
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
